It is trite that business rescue gives top priority to saving the business and the balancing of the rights and interests of all stakeholders, including employees, and culminates in the publication of a business rescue plan to be voted on. We act accordingly as enjoined by the letter and spirit of the law, especially the South African Companies Act (No. 71 of 2008). Business rescue should be a speedy process and timely commencement is key to success.
